Le Nogal is named after the remarkable walnut tree located in the garden of the property. It is an old clog maker’s house and farmhouse from the 18th century. It was completely renovated in 2023 to the highest current standards. This authentic cottage for 6 people plus 1 baby, located in the main building, features modern comfort with a shower or bath per room. Stone walls and wooden beams make it a charming and characterful building.
Come and enjoy a relaxing time with your family in the land of Chimay! You will be a few kilometers from the famous and magnificent Château, within the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse park. It is also an opportunity to enjoy walks or bike rides, in the woods or the Ravels.

Our 3 ears rural cottage (classification of the General Tourism Commission) offers a modern, fully equipped kitchen waiting for you to enjoy the delicious specialties you can find in the region: escavêche, game, pâtés, cheese, snails…
The adjoining comfortable living room will invite you to relax and taste wines or a regional beer (Chimay, des Fagnes). Its decoration is a little nod to great-grandfather Georges, who came to work in the tile factories of Bourlers in the 19th century and was a clog maker in his spare time.
Upstairs, to recover from your numerous forest walks or bike rides, a second reading and games room will allow you to isolate yourself to end the day with some reading, a board game at your disposal, or why not start a lively game of foosball. This lounge has Telenet channels.
